The 2016 Historic Gardens Spring Dinner & Auction is almost here – only 2 more sleeps!
Sunday at 4pm the fun begins for a crowd of keen supporters. But I must say, the fun has already begun for a group of great volunteers! The hall is looking great, the items up for bid have been artistically displayed. The plant material is extra special this year – there will be some hot bidding for some of these unique specimens. A collaboration of volunteers, summer students and exchange students from France are working together on decorations. Scribes are scribing, proofreaders are proofing, counters are counting, truckers are trucking, lifters are lifting… there is so much that goes into an event of this magnitude, and the Gardens Board and Staff are very grateful for all the help. Without the people who help with this event in so many ways, it simply could not exist.
Only 2 more sleeps…
We have a few tickets still available – call 532-7018 Saturday!
